In most cases, it is necessary co see patient for consultation prior the day of treatment. The consultation appointment is discuss your health and indicated treatment, as well as set aside an appointment time. If for any reason you cannot keep your appointment, kindly notify us 48 hours in advance.
On the day of your surgery or if surgery is done at the time of consulcacion, please follow these instructions:
1. Do not EAT or DRINK anything for at lease 8 hours before surgery appointment.
2. Take your regular medications with a minimum amount of liquid. (Diabetics need special instructions.)
3. A relative or adult friend MUST accompany you home. Do NOT plan to drive a car or return to work until the day after general anesthesia.
4. Wear comfortable and loose fining clothing, shore sleeves are preferred.
5. Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
6. Please notify this office of any change of health.
